MAN MADE, MADE MAN

Civilization as known and established by the highly intelligent human kind that we seem to be, might be mainly a product of our own hands, yet at the same time it manufactures it’s own product in turn as well; us.

Let me explain my thought-path with the tiniest of tiny example below. Some sweets are given to us by mother earth herself and can be found growing on trees or from fertile soil. They contain high levels of natural sugars and thus considered as delights eversince mankind stumbled upon them one day a long time ago. Weren’t it the forbidden fruits in the Garden of Eden, that carry the première title? I am not going to do some Bible talking, since I am an atheist. Neither evolutionary, but rather philosophically. Allthough it does bring me to a side path of a different example; man has created religions in order to believe. But let’s not go down that road and proceed with the sweettalk.

Nowadays, we as species, have created tons of different delights to indulge ourselves in. Even to the extend where a notable group of people prefers the artificial manufactured sweets over those of given to us by our beloved viable planet.

Now, is it a legit thing to state, that what man made, made man? I suppose so.
And thus, we as species, (not the particular individuals that guard themselves for this phenomena), seem to move ourselves further and further away from our origin. Our heritage. Our nature.

The pictures shown are a well-balanced mix between the given and the created. A random outtake; the first displays the salt evaporation ponds in Salinas Ibiza, on the way there I stumbled on bushes of wild growing rosemary (last image), thyme and juniper. All free!
